Magic & Shenanigans:a guided tour festival. And I was a tour guide!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of being a comedy tour guide for the inaugural Magic and Shenanigans festival in Waterloo, Canada, and what fun it was!

What on earth is this all about? I hear you virtually cry. Put simply it was four different magicians each doing a 15-minute show and each one is in a different venue, sometimes but mostly not in the same building, but at most a three-minute walk away! And my job was to guide a group of between 6 and 30 people from one show to another, while at the same time making sure everyone on the tour is amused and happy.

And that was exactly how it went down.

I started on Friday night on the Harry Houdini tour (interestingly, not one of my magicians did any escaping from anything). I met my little group outside a very cute little cinema / art centre named the Princess Twin. After the group had been checked in by a responsible person (which obviously I am not) they were handed over to me for the fun to begin.

Here is a link straight to the Magic and Shenanigan Website where you can take a good look at the Magicians and the other tour guides

I cannot wait for this event to happen again.
