GUY COLLINS
History
Guy was born in Marietta Georgia to British parents. They returned with him to the UK when Guy was just 5 years old. While still a teenager, Guy's first juggling performances were on the streets of Paris in the 1980s. His first professional engagements followed soon after as a Medieval Jester at a local stately home. After a brief stint in circus school, Guy was recruited to Blackpool Pleasure Beach where he was both a street and stage act. He was also sent to perform in theme parks in Sweden and Germany. Guy also managed a brief tour with a traditional English circus.
Then in 1995 Guy started performing at the iconic Covent Garden market, which remained his base until moving to Key West in 2001. Guy was employed by the Hilton Hotel as a "Sunset Celebrity" performing throughout the year.
All good things must come to an end, and in 2010 he moved to the mountains of Vermont where you can still find him today. In August of 2013 whilst doing a show at Faneuil Hall, Penn Jillette and the Travel Channel were so impressed by his performance they awarded him $10,000 and proclaimed him the best street performer in Boston.
Nowadays Guy performs mostly at state fairs, resorts, cruise ships and the occasional renaissance fair.
