The picture above was taken the first year I ever performed down here in Virginia Beach, which I think was in 2010. Sadly, I no longer have the shirt. Back then it was called Beach Street USA, but now it is Live On Atlantic and that is exactly what it is. Live Entertainment up and down Atlantic Avenue with bands, magicians, puppeteers, mimes and everything in between. And then there are the two closed off streets where the Circle Acts (I'm one of them) perform 19th and 23rd, I'm normally at 23rd.

Circle Acts are bigger street acts these are normally Breakdancers, Acrobats, Escape artists, Sword Swallowers, Trapeze acts, and jugglers who are often also riding tall unicycles, walking on ropes or balancing on ladders, poles and chairs. In the last few years Hula-Hoop, Cyr wheel (It's a big metal hula-hoop that the performer stands in) and Pogo stick shows have also become very popular.

This is a nice event, and it brings excellent Live Variety acts from all over the USA and sometimes even further afield. The shows are completely free and that allows families (who can not afford to take all of their children to the theatre and circuses due to high ticket prices), to experience a modern form of Vaudevillian entertainment that they would otherwise never be able to enjoy.

I perform three shows each night (unless like now it's raining) at 7.30 pm, 8.45 pm and 10 pm.

I would suggest you bring your own chairs, otherwise it is standing room only.

Furthermore, I started on Wednesday 11th June and my last night will be Thursday 19th June.

The weather is actually pretty perfect on the beach, not too hot, just lovely. So if you are close by, come on down and have some fun with me.

You can click on the link above to see more acts and information.

After I am done here I'm going to be in the UK at the Glastonbury Festival, after that North Dakota, Vermont, Iowa, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Vermont (again), Pennsylvania, Germany, Oklahoma and finally then I am going on a cruise, I am all booked up until 21st October.

I wouldn't mind a bit of a holiday after all that!
