All at Sea Again

Ahoy there! Here I am on the Norwegian Pearl, currently somewhere between Curaçao and St Kitts on the Caribbean Sea. It's a sea day, so I have a bit of time. This is actually day 7 of 12 and my first show night was on day 3 or last Wednesday and I am free until Tuesday which will be my second night of shows, when we will be in St Thomas. I am very happy to say that the first night was excellent and people are telling me they are looking forward to my second show!
I spent most of the yesterday and the day before at the beach, firstly in Aruba which has gorgeous sand and then yesterday in Curaçao where we had some very nice Dutch food as well. Also, as yesterday was my mum's birthday (she is 84) I had a Piña colada, which is her favourite cocktail, and toasted her (I sent her a card as well).
Today I have already studied some German for my upcoming Swiss festival in May, did an hour's worth of juggling practise in the theatre and played my ukulele. I will probably go to the gym after I have written this, and then this evening the other guest entertainers and I are having dinner together.
The other entertainers are Simon B Cotter who is a comedian from Canada and is very, very funny and Titou who is a magician and is French, and also great. You should look them up! Variety entertainment is a small world, and although I have only met these two for the first time here, we all have mutual acquaintances.
Summer fair season is fast approaching, and I have just been confirmed for the Tulsa State Fair for 10 days starting 25th September. The weekend before that I will be in Landshut, Germany for another street festival. I better get busy with that German!
Sorry about the lack of recent blog posts. Spring sprang, and I had to get my garden ready for planting as well as do a bit (quite a big bit) of clearing. It's looking pretty good, I just hope I have enough time to weed and water between engagements.
Time for me to do a bit of exercise, so I am signing off until later.
Ta, ta for now!
